Is this the app you need?

Find your situation below. Each one tells you straight whether Phone Reclaim can help, so you don't pay for something that can't.

Seven tools that do one job each, and do it carefully.

SD card photo recovery

Recover deleted photos and videos from a memory card.

Pull the microSD card out of your phone, camera or dash cam and put it in a card reader. Phone Reclaim reads every part of the card, including the space where deleted files used to be, and rebuilds the photos and videos it finds.

  • Finds JPEG, PNG, HEIC, WebP, GIF and AVIF photos and MP4, MOV, 3GP and AVI videos
  • Often works even after the card was emptied or quick-formatted
  • Read-only: nothing is ever written to the card
  • Preview the count free before you buy

Phone storage cleaner

Free up space on your Android without losing anything.

See how full your phone is, which folders hold the most, and which apps like YouTube, Facebook and TikTok are hoarding gigabytes. Then move the big stuff to your computer.

  • Largest files first, from Camera, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Downloads and more
  • Each copy is checked byte for byte (SHA-256) before the phone file is deleted
  • Stops on its own if your computer runs low on space
  • Copy only, or copy then delete: your choice, file by file

Delete text messages by size

Finally clear out old texts, one message at a time.

Group chats full of photos and videos can take gigabytes. Phone Reclaim lists your conversations largest first. Open one, tick the pictures and videos you don't need, and delete them, all from your computer's big screen.

  • Conversations sorted by size, with picture and video counts
  • Multi-select individual messages, not whole threads
  • The whole conversation is saved to your computer before anything is deleted
  • Your usual messaging app stays in charge; a small helper takes over only during the delete, then hands it straight back

Android 10 or later. iPhone texts can't be deleted from a computer; that's an Apple limit.

Android photo backup to PC & Mac

Copy photos, videos and files from Android to your computer.

Plug in your phone and Phone Reclaim lists everything it can reach in shared storage: camera roll, screenshots, downloads, and media saved by WhatsApp, Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, Snapchat, Telegram and TikTok.

  • Pick files one by one or select everything at once
  • Original filenames, dates and folders are kept
  • A report lists every file saved and its checksum
  • Also browses backup folders and SD cards already on your computer

Recover deleted Android photos

Find what's still in the trash before it's gone for good.

Deleted photos usually sit in a trash folder for 30 days. Phone Reclaim finds trash items and leftover backup copies across the phone and saves them to your computer. It can also open Google Photos, Messages and Files right on the phone so you can restore from their own trash.

  • Finds trashed photos, videos and documents, plus old contact and SMS backup files
  • Filter by photos, documents, messages and more
  • Tells you what to try next if the trash was emptied or the phone was reset

WhatsApp backup saver

WhatsApp keeps about a week of daily backups on your phone, then overwrites them. Phone Reclaim finds them all and saves verified copies to your computer so an older backup is there when you need to restore lost chats.

Broken screen Samsung check

Can't see or tap your screen? Phone Reclaim checks whether your computer sees the phone over USB, even in Download Mode, and walks you through the ways in: an OTG mouse, Samsung DeX, and Find My Mobile.

Deep recovery check

Find out in a minute how far recovery can go on your phone and why. No guessing, no paying for a scan that was never going to work.

iPhone Early access

See your iPhone's storage and copy its photos and videos to a Mac. iPhone support is new and needs a one-time free helper install on the Mac.

Built not to make things worse

Nothing is deleted until its copy is proven.

Recovery tools have one job they must never fail at: not losing more. Phone Reclaim is careful at every step.

Look first, for free

Scan your phone or card and see exactly what's there before you pay or change anything.

Copy to your computer

Files go to a folder you choose on your PC or Mac. Never to the cloud, never to our servers.

Check every byte

Each copy is compared to the original with a SHA-256 checksum. If it doesn't match, the original stays put.

Then, and only then, delete

Only verified files are removed from the phone. Memory cards are never written to at all.

Straight answers

What it can do, and what nothing can.

Some recovery apps promise to bring back anything. Modern phones make that impossible, and we'd rather you know before you buy.

✓ Phone Reclaim can

  • Recover deleted photos and videos from microSD and SD cards
  • Copy everything in an Android phone's shared storage to your computer
  • Find photos still in the trash and leftover backup copies
  • Delete texts and files safely after saving them
  • Save WhatsApp backups before they're overwritten

✕ No app can

  • Undelete photos erased from a modern phone's internal storage. It's encrypted, so erased means gone.
  • Recover anything after a factory reset
  • Get into a locked phone you can't unlock, or skip the "Allow USB debugging" prompt
  • Read an SD card that was set up as internal phone storage
  • Open WhatsApp backups without WhatsApp itself

Common questions

Can I recover deleted photos from my SD card?

Often, yes. Take the microSD card out of the phone, put it in a card reader on your computer, and scan it with Phone Reclaim. It reads the whole card, including space where deleted photos and videos used to be. Stop using the card first, because new photos can overwrite the deleted ones. A card that was set up as internal phone storage is encrypted and can't be read this way.

Can it recover photos deleted from my Android phone's internal storage?

Only if a copy still exists. Modern Android phones encrypt their storage, so once a photo is erased from internal memory no app can rebuild it. Phone Reclaim finds what is still there: items in the trash, leftover backup copies, and files in app folders such as WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram. It also opens Google Photos, Messages and Files on the phone so you can restore from their trash.

How do I free up storage on my Android phone without losing photos?

Connect the phone, choose Free up space, and Phone Reclaim shows which folders and apps use the most room. Pick files and choose Copy, then delete from phone. Each file is copied to your computer and checked byte for byte. A phone file is deleted only when its copy matches exactly.

How do I delete old text messages to free up space?

Phone Reclaim lists your conversations largest first, so you can see which group chats are full of photos and videos. Open one, tick the messages you want gone, and choose Save, then delete selected. The whole conversation is saved to your computer first. A small helper app becomes the phone's messaging app only during the delete, then hands control straight back. Requires Android 10 or later.

My phone screen is broken. Can I still get my photos off?

Sometimes. A phone with a broken screen must still allow a computer to read it. Plug in a USB-C mouse with an OTG adapter to tap Allow, connect a TV or monitor (Samsung DeX), or use Samsung Find My Mobile if the phone is signed in. Phone Reclaim's Broken Samsung check shows whether the computer can see the phone over USB at all. No software can bypass a locked phone's security.

Is it free?

Scanning and previewing are free, so you can see what Phone Reclaim finds before you pay. Saving, recovering and deleting need a $39.95 lifetime license that covers 3 phones and 2 computers, on Windows or Mac.

Does it work on Mac?

Yes. Phone Reclaim runs on Windows 10 and 11 and on macOS, and one license covers both. The memory card, Android, free up space, texts and WhatsApp features work on both systems.

What do I need to connect my Android phone?

A USB data cable (some charging-only cables don't carry data) and USB debugging turned on in the phone's Developer options. Phone Reclaim shows the steps when you connect. The first time, tap Allow on the phone to trust your computer.

Are my photos or texts uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything is copied straight from your phone or card to a folder on your own computer. The only thing Phone Reclaim sends online is your license check, which contains no photos, messages or file names.
